This group will practice together for 6 weeks on Thursdays evenings (8-9pm) near Ashbridges Bay at the Lions Club / Balmy Beach Canoe Club. The team is called Harbord Village and is open to anyone. We'll learn to paddle in a short program with minimal commitment of time and money. The training culminates with the team (20 paddlers) racing at the 129th annual DDRA Canada Day Regatta at Toronto's Centre Island. We are a group of dragonboaters who meet up for various activities, including: Monday 7:15-8:30pm-- Pool Practice- Cedar Springs Racquetball Club, Cumberland Rd, Burlington Wednesdays 7:15-8:15-- group workout-- Brant Street, Burlington Join in both activities each week or one each week. We would love to have you out. Outdoor practices happen at Bayfront Park in Hamilton starting mid April.

Mississauga Social Club is multicultural and open to all - regardless of nationality and location. Our "neighbours" from Toronto, Brampton and Oakville are most welcome. Our aim is to bring people together in a relaxed social setting, to enjoy good food, each others company, stimulating conversation and just have fun. We meet twice a week for road and off road runs out of North Toronto Memorial Centre (Young & Eglinton). Various distances and various abilities. Walking section under consideration. Mid week socials. We also have a dragonboat team and a fair number of XC skiers in our ranks. Volunteerism at Toronto races is encouraged. Road trips to more distant races are too. Links with several other running and adventure clubs.
